3D Printing Service

As a rule of thumb, 3D Printing is a balance of cost vs detail. The lower the detail you require, the cheaper your parts will be to produce. 

FDM Printing:

(Fused deposit modelling)

Materials.

(Any colour)

PLA - Lightweight, cheap and biodegradable.

PLA+ - PLA but with more strength.

ABS - Strong, Durable but damaged by UV rays.

ABS+ - ABS but with a smoother finish. 

ASA - ABS but with UV resistance. 

Flex - Rubber-based flexible material. 

(Transparent)

PETG - Clear colours, Durable and food safe.

Polycarbonate - Extremely strong, water and UV resistant.

(Natural Colours only.)

Nylon - Durable, Flexible and heat resistant.

WoodFil - PLA but with a strong, sandable wood finish. 

MetalFil - PLA but for conductive metal parts.

Carbon Fibre - Carbon fibre laced plastic. Durable and lightweight. 

Density options:

5% - Extremely light, Very low cost but very weak.

25% - Light, Low Cost, moderate strength.

50% -  Heavy but Higher cost.

75% - High cost but extremely durable.

Resolution Options:
0.25mm Layer height - Cheap but low detail.

0.2mm Layer height - Inexpensive, well-balanced detail.

0.1mm Layer Height - High detail at a greater cost.

0.05mm Layer height - Extremely high detail greater cost. (SLA only.)

SLA PRINTING

(UV Resin Printing)

Transpar - Clear as glass, High durability, Minor flex Extreme detail.

Opaque - High durability, Minor Flex, Extreme detail.
